The workshop will take place on the greek island of Spetses, on the premises of the Anargyrios & Korgialenios School of Spetses (AKSS) which gathers conference facilities and hosting units for all participants.

The talks will start early morning on Monday 6/09 and end just before lunch time on Friday 10/09. Participants are thus expected to arrive on Sunday 5/09 afternoon and to leave on Friday 10/09 afternoon. Please indicate, upon filling the registration form, the day of arrival and departure, so the rooms and meals can be arranged accordingly, and in particular in case of late arrival with the last boat itinerary.

The easiest way to reach the conference venue is to arrive at Athens international airport

and connect to Pireaus Port in about one hour (but plan for 2.30 hours if possible), for instance via public transportation:

From Pireaus, you can take the boat shuttle to the island Spetses. Note that there are several shuttles from Piraeus-Spetses per day, but not all have the same duration. You might want to book it quite in advance, to be sure to have a seat at the time that would suit you best. Beware also that the workshop will coincide with the Armata festival on the island (see the page on tourist information). See specifically:

Beware that to board on the boat similar Covid rules apply as to travel (see the specific page on Covid informations):

The conference venue is Anargyrios & Korgialenios School of Spetses (AKSS). Spetses is a small island, with almost no cars. The school is about 20 minutes on foot from the port and the village, and taxis are also available there.
